One of us has finally gone back to Disney World! Amanda talks about her experience visiting a Disney park for the first time since… well, you know. Then we talk about some of the Disney attractions we don’t have in Florida that we wish we had.
This month, Justin reviews the Jungle Cruise movie, and he and Amanda give a few of their opinions on other Disney Park movies they’ve seen. Then, they discuss the pros, cons, and costs of Disney’s recently announced Genie and Genie+ services.
After an unplanned hiatus, our Utilidork hosts return to talk about a few changes to the parks, including the long-awaited return of nighttime entertainment! This segues into a discussion about the history of nighttime entertainment, as well as upcoming offerings and which ones are/were our favorites.
This month, we talk briefly about a couple of big changes in the parks… Then we travel through Hyperspace to a Galaxy Far, Far Away (in Central Florida) and talk about many of the Star Wars-related attractions and events of Disney World’s past and present.
Justin and Amanda discuss the current and upcoming changes to the Jungle Cruise, then wax nostalgic about Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and its almost completely different predecessor, the Disney-MGM Studios. (We also find out that Justin apparently hates Christmas?” 🤷🏻♂️
In this month’s episode, Justin and Amanda discuss their favorite snacks around Walt Disney World, as well as discuss the anniversary — as it were — of Disney World’s closure in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and how they feel Disney has handled reopening and safety since then.
**EDITOR’S NOTE: Amanda’s audio was rather inconsistent throughout the recording and we don’t know how or why. I did my best to balance the volume. Hopefully, the drastic and sudden volume changes will not be noticeable.**
In our inaugural episode, your Utilidork hosts Justin and Amanda introduce themselves and talk about their earliest Disney World memories, Cast Member careers, and favorite stories from the parks and resorts.
